What We Do

We provide scheduled lawn care from April to September exclusively for residents of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn. Our professional service includes:

Service Requirements

To ensure that we can provide the best care for your lawn, we ask that our clients meet the following criteria:

Access: We require an entryway that can accommodate our 36-inch wide lawn mower to ensure we can reach all areas of your backyard.
Lawn Height: For lawns that are significantly overgrown, an additional fee ranging from $40 to $80 will apply, depending on the extent of overgrowth. This is to cover the extra work needed to bring your lawn up to an optimal height for regular maintenance.

Billing

At Amigos Landscaping, we keep billing simple and hassle-free. We keep a credit card on file to process weekly payments for your scheduled services. There is no binding contract, so you are free to cancel at any time. In case of bad weather, we strive to reschedule services within the same week to avoid skipping a service. However, if rescheduling within the week isn’t feasible, we must still charge for that week due to the increased workload anticipated for the next scheduled service. Conversely, during periods when the grass isn’t growing and a service might be unnecessary, we can adjust your plan to our bi-weekly schedule, reflecting this change in your billing at the bi-weekly rate.

Am I able to skip a service?

No, our mowing service is designed to run on a consistent weekly schedule to ensure your lawn remains in optimal condition. We do recognize that there are exceptional circumstances that may necessitate a change in this schedule:

  • Weather-Related or Other Required Skips: If severe weather or another unavoidable issue prevents us from servicing your lawn on its scheduled day, our first step is to attempt rescheduling within the same week. If it proves infeasible to reschedule within that timeframe, the service for that week may be skipped. We still charge for skipped services due to the anticipated extra workload required in the subsequent service, which involves managing longer grass and more debris, necessitating additional time and resources.

  • Adjustments for Slow or No Grass Growth: Recognizing the seasonal variations in grass growth, we offer the option to adjust to a bi-weekly service schedule during times when growth is significantly slower. This option is priced at 50% more per service compared to the weekly rate. Although the per-service cost is higher, opting for a bi-weekly schedule results in a lower total monthly cost compared to the weekly service. This pricing reflects the additional time and effort required to maintain your lawn after a longer interval between services.

Do I need to renew service every year?

Our services are continuous, and you do not need to renew them each year. We will continue to maintain your lawn until you tell us otherwise. If you wish to discontinue your services or make any changes, just let us know.

Is there a cancellation fee?

We strive to keep our services as flexible and customer-friendly as possible, which is why we do not charge a cancellation fee. You can cancel your service at any time. However, we ask for as much notice as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts and to allow us to offer the slot to another client.
